Raven is a knowing bird
Of wondrous beak and blackest wing
His messages – unspoken word
From realms wherein the angels sing

A spirit guide comes humbly dressed
More often than in brilliant guise
So pay attention and be blessed
For heaven speaks to ready eyes

The deep blue sky in the painting is the intense sky above Thunder Mountain as seen from my special vantage in Sedona, Arizona. Flying in for a greeting is one of the ravens that dance in the sky there daily. It is the Sedona ravens that give my studio its name. They are the spirits in the sky, the traditional messengers who carry magick from the sacred void into the physical world. I am blessed that they have become such messengers for me.
